Born and raised in China, I moved to Hong Kong in 2011. I began my journey of being an educator in this city where I discovered my passion, working as an Educator.
I received my PGDE from The University of Hong Kong, my Master in Teaching Chinese as an International Language from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and my Master in Social Science from City University of Hong Kong. I also hold a First Class certificate in National Putonghua Test (PSC) and achieved the highest grade in all papers of Language Proficiency Assessment for Teachers.
Prior to joining Fairchild, I worked as a course director and a Mandarin teacher in various schools. I am a certified IB (International Baccalaureate) PYP (Primary Years Program) Educator and certified Montessori Teaching Assistant.
Being both passionate and patient, I have devoted myself to the education career and am keen to become a life-long learner. The thing I love most regarding working with children is the sense of achievement that with our support and guidance, children are discovering who they are and becoming well rounded, resourceful, creative, responsible and curious with the skills necessary to meet the challenges in the future. I like to create a student-centred classroom, where children can explore and inquire freely.
As an education practitioner and a mother of a 2-year-old, I believe my passion and patience will bring my best to the Fairchild family.
