I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. During my time at university, I participated in multiple educational volunteering services for children in need (e.g., those from low-income families) and devoted my time to be a child’s tutor in church. I found fulfillment from interacting with the children and it assured my aspiration for childhood education. Therefore, I studied with the Hong Kong Baptist University and completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education in 2019.
During my professional training, I had an opportunity to work at an international kindergarten to sharpen my teaching skills and enrich my perspectives concerning the diverse approaches and curricula of early childhood education in Hong Kong. As an educator, I respect every child’s uniqueness and always hope that every child’s talent can be explored and developed through an inquiry-based education. As a responsible professional in early childhood education as well as a qualified conduit of education, I must dedicate myself to create a positive, conducive and responsive environment for children’s growth in all areas of their development.
I truly believe that children are able to show their understanding and express feelings in their own ways. For me, I always use different melodies to express my feelings, and therefore I love to play music instruments such as piano and plan to share my love of music with the children.
It is my great pleasure to join the Fairchild family in 2019 and I look forward to accompanying and witnessing every child’s learning journey.
